         On July 7^th, Fortune Magazine officially released the list of 2011 world top 500 corporations. CNBM, for the first time, became a member of this world fortune club, ranking 484, thus receiving a letter of congratulation from Fortune Magazine. With the joining of 16 new members, the overall Chinese Corporations named on the list jumped to 69 (including those from Taiwan). And the number of Chinese central enterprises rose up to 38, with an increase of 8 more. A closer study on the list may find that within the building material industry, CNBM ranks the fifth, only after Saint Gobain (France), CRH (Ireland), Lafarge (France) and Holcim (Switzerland).

         For CNBM, entering the list at the last year of the “eleventh five years” signifies the achievement of its target ahead of schedule, which is set for the “Twelfth five years.” Professionals believe that this is a milestone for CNBM, to evolve from a big-sized enterprise to a strong and innovative enterprise. And this list would be a guide leading CNBM to the first-rate international performance.
